At its core "Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry" is a car chase film starring Peter Fonda, Susan George, Adam Roarke, and Vic Morrow.
But lord help me, this is like no car chase film I have ever seen. For one thing there's real acting going on here. For another there's an eerie lack of music in this movie, except for the opening and the trailer. For old car fans there's a modified, H.O. 1969 Dodge Charger. And for everybody there Peter Fonda at the top of his game!
And last, and I mean really Last, this movie has the Most Shocking ending I've ever seen!

Ahh, poor Vic Morrow.
Anyway, kind of reminds me of Dukes of Hazzard with that Charger rumblin' around.

I kept waiting for the jokes and "wink-wink" moments. But there was little of that in this movie. Instead I was completely entertained and unprepared for the ending.
