The American primetime television sitcom "The Jeffersons" focus on George and Louise Jefferson (Sherman Hemsley and Isabel Sanford); a black married who have been able to move from Queens to Manhattan owning to the success of George's dry-cleaning chain, Jefferson Cleaners. The sitcom also centers on George and Louise's son, Lionel. The Jeffersons have their next door neighbors, Tom and Helen Willis (Franklin Cover and Roxie Roker), and their daughter Jenny (Berlinda Tolbert), their other next door neighbor is Harry Bentley (Paul Benedict), a British man. There was George's mother named Olivia "Mother" Jefferson (Zara Cully), and the Jeffersons maid of Florence Johnston (Marla Gibbs).
