The revival of the classic "American Gladiators" met with some approval and some disappointment. The Gladiators were much bigger and stronger, and a few of the events were performed over water. Also, the Eliminator was the toughest it had ever been. The only GOOD thing about the show was that, at the end of each Season, the winning contenders would return the following season as Gladiators. Two contenders that stood out were Monica Carlson(JET) and Evan Dollard (Rocket) Adding to the disappointment were the hosts of the show: Former Pro wrestler Hulk Hogan and former ladies boxing champion Laila Ali.
