Based on the classic 1960's hit series this was Hanna Barbera's second attempt at producing an Addams Family cartoon, with the previous cartoon airing on NBC during the mid-1970's. This series came about following the success of the first Addams Family movie. John Astin reprises his role providing the voice of Gomez Addams.
