ABC TV Network Sunday and Friday nights October 11,1959-December 29,1962 This cartoon series featured reruns of the Paramount/Famous "Noveltoons"(later retitled The Harveytoons) which featured the misadventures of "Baby Huey"(a duck who inadvertedly creates havoc but redeems himself when he foils the fox),"Herman & Katnip"(A smart mouse who prevents a mean cat from harming his siblings), "Buzzy The Crow"(A southern talking crow..who prevents "Katnip cat"from harming him)and "Casper"(The little ghost..who wants to make friends..but his presence and the negative beliefs that people have about spirits scares people away).The series was sponsored by The Mattel toy co. and their icons"Matty Mattel & Sisterbelle"(an animated boy and girl)serve as both hosts and spokespersons for the sponsors.
