Originally titled "Soldiers of Fortune, Inc." SOF: Special Ops Force was one of the first television shows produced by Jerry Bruckheimer of "Con Air" and "Armageddon". The series focused on a group of highly trained soldiers who are contracted by the US Government to take on "Black Ops" missions, tasks that the US could not "officially" get involved in.
