Simon J. Smith directs from an adaptation by David Lipman; Based upon the 1990 picture book by William Steig, and characters from the 2001 motion picture 'Shrek'. Producers: Jeffrey Katzenberg and Lipman. Score composed by Harry Gregson-Williams, conducted by his son Rupert; Original 'Shrek' Music by H. Gregson Williams and John Powell. Prod VFX Supervisor: Paul Wang. Supervising Animator: Raman Hui. a PDI/DreamWorks production for DreamWorks Pictures. The first CGI production from DreamWorks to utilize hp [invent] technology. Formerly ran at Universal Studios Hollywood's Upper Lot from May 23, 2003 - August 14, 2017; in Production Central at Universal Studios Florida from May 31, 2003 - January 10, 2022; in the Roxy Theatre at Warner Bros. Movie World [au] from September 17, 2005 - August 29, 2010; and in the Roxy 4D-Kino within the Hollywood Street Set at Movie Park [de] from May 27, 2008 - July 4, 2011; and was on the official Shrek website from 2007-'10. 2D retitled version is always on DVD, Blu-ray and on Digital. Currently running in Hollywood at Universal Studios Japan from June 20, 2003 - present; and in Far Far Away at Universal Studios Singapore from March 18, 2010 - present.
