Jack Frost is a stop motion animated television special that premiered on NBC on December 13, 1979. It was directed by Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin, Jr. and written by Romeo Muller. The special tells the tale of Jack Frost, the winter sprite, and his adventures as a human. It airs annually on the Freeform cable network as a part of its 25 Days of Christmas programming block.
