This movie did not star the Doctor from the TV series, but horror film legend Peter Cushing as the Doctor. An unorthodox inventor has built a machine called the TARDIS and his older granddaughter's boyfriend accidentally make them travel to a planet inhabited by a race called the Daleks that have suffered from radiation. The Daleks have captured the Doctor and his companions and they must escape. But soon they find out that there are more humans on the planet that need help to defeat the Daleks .
