Charlie Brown's Christmas Tales

A vignette package special that ABC first aired in 2002 to fill up the hour used to broadcast "A Charlie Brown Christmas". The special consists of five stores all loosely based on the comic. In Snoopy's "Happy Holidays" Snoopy is trying to get Lucy to skate with him and has to deal with an angry Rerun who did not get what he wanted for Christmas last year. In Linus's "Yuletide Greetings" Linus is trying to write a letter to Santa and is also smitten with a girl who is always changing her name. In Sally's "Seasons Greetings", Sally makes a laughing stock of herself when she writes a letter to "Samantha Claus" and tries to "fall down" a Christmas tree all by herself. In Lucy's "Peace on Earth" Lucy is trying to get Schroeder and Linus to buy her presents, justifying it by showing that the Bible has the word "sister" in it. Finally in Charlie Brown's "Merry Christmas", Charlie Brown and his family are getting ready for Christmas.
