Three teenage friends aren't so keen on the idea of growing older. Thinking they have outgrown going trick-or-treating, the three decide to do the next best thing to celebrate the holiday: spend Halloween night in the titular store, which has opened a location in an old strip mall. A night of spooky fun turns into a night of survival when the store's animatronics come to life all by themselves and want them all dead. It turns out the figures are haunted by the ghost of Alec Windsor, a man killed by a witch after he attempted to purchase the land she lived on to build the strip mall. Now all they need to do is keep Windsor at bay until sunrise.
