Earthworm Jim was first released for the Sega Genesis, then it got ported to other systems including Game Gear, SNES, Game Boy, Saturn, Playstation, PC (Windows), Game Boy Advance & DSi (download).

I have played Eartworm Jim both in SNES and PC version and I must say that SNES version was a lot more intriguing, it's about the excitement on playing on console in front of your TV. The console gaming is definitely more exciting then playing on PC on some specific games and this is one of them.
Hey, but this is only my opinion.

you could always purchase a sega cd from ebay and get earthworm jim for it. it's almost the same thing, only with watered down sound effects for whatever reason, and a password system

Why didn't the SNES version include the 'Intestinal Distress' stage? :?
