I found this one GameTrailers.com that the Angry Video Game Nerd gives his review on a horrbile NES game that I've never played that game before, it's called "Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout" for the NES.
This game was based on the WB cartoons as part of my childhood. I grew up watching the Looney Tunes on local NYC TV such as Metromedia owned WNEW-TV (now WNYW-TV) along with Woody Woodpecker, and WWOR-TV where they usually ran those WB cartoons after the move from channel 5 to channel 9 back in around 1988 and 1989 as well as the cartoon being shown on Sunday mornings when it was part of a long gone local kids show "Steampipe Alley" hosted by Mario Cantone. The announcer for "Steampipe Alley" was longtime WOR-TV staff announcer Ted Mallie where he gives prize plugs to the kids in the final segment of the show and then at the end, Ted was given away candies and Good Humor ice cream. I missed watching "Steampipe Alley" on TV, it was fun.
I also remember watching WB cartoons on Saturday morning back in my childhood was "The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Show", "The Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes Comedy Hour" and "The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show". Those are the shows that I missed watching it on TV. I used to watched it on my own 13' B&W TV, but ours had the 19' color TV.
After watching enough cartoons on TNT, TBS, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network until it finally bit the dust a few years ago. Those are the cartoons that I remember. I missed them, thank goodness for LT Golden Collection DVD's and on YouTube.
Enough already, I want to show you the video of the AVGN where he does his review on a horrible NES game, "Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout".
Keep in mind, that this review contains adult language. There is also a spoof of the WB opening and closing except the Porky in drum spoof where he says "That's all f***s!" instead of that normal ending. Here it is.
