The great thing about bootleg DVDs is they enable you to get shows and movies on DVD, that you can't get anywhere else. But there are certain legistics to them. For instance,if you buy bootleg DVDs of a show that's already available in stores, then it's wrong. But if it's something you can't get in any stores, and there are no plans to put them on DVD, then it's ok. I have the complete 90's Spider-Man, and Beetlejuice cartoon shows on bootleg DVD. I know for sure, there are no plans to put the Beetlejuice cartoon show on regular DVD, even thogh the 20th anniversary edition of the movie comes with three episodes from the series. I think the reason why there are no plans to put the show on DVD is because I don't think that many people remember it. I know they have certain select episodes of the 90's Spider-Man cartoon on DVD, but they don't have full seasons on DVD. What are some bootleg DVDs you have?

Someone gave me pirate copies of The Simpsons Movie, Transformers, Shrek 2, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie and another Spongebob DVD. I was also given a pirate copied Busted CD by the same person.
I can't think of anything worth putting as a signature.

I have quite a few of banned or obsolete horror, most notably are Lunch meat, Surf nazi's must die, Faces of Gore, S.S. Hell Camp, Sledgehammer, Island of Death and the comical Deception of a Generation ...mostly out of print or only VHS release. Deception of a Generation was a christian talk show episode about how He-man and other '80's toys and cartoons are turning us towards the evils of the occult....absolute comedy..if you can find it...definitely recommend.

^ As far as I'm concern there is no problem to record tv programs/movies for personal use. Not for public showing or selling.

I've got a couple of bootleg Pink Floyd DVD's. One has several of their late 60's appearances on French television, the other has some of their music videos, projection screen films they used at concerts and the short playing VHS tape they released simultaneously with the Final Cut album in 1983.

I have the first season of Invader Zim and Garth Merenghi's Darkplace. I'd love to have David the Gnome or the Wonderful Wizard of Oz series. Tintin is finally getting an official Region 1 release this year (how convenient).

I have what would probably be considered as "bootleg" DVD copies of some Muppet specials such as "Muppet Family Chirstmas," "The Muppets at Walt Disney World." and "The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson." Muppet Family Christmas did have a commerical release, but it was very edited, so I bought a "bootleg" one that isn't so much. I also have a "bootleg" verison of Jim Henson's early work of the show "Sam and Friends." I also have recored VHS copies of "The Muppets: A celebration of 30 years" and a couple episodes of Muppet Babies. It should easy to see that I'm a HUGE Muppets fan, .

As for "non-Muppet/Jim Henson" stuff, I also have far too short lived yet super funny MTV cartoon "3 South" on DVD, but sadly those ones don't play too well anymore.

In terms of stuff I recorded myself on VHS' and stuff, there's too much to list really.

I only buy "bootlegs" of things that probably will never got an offical DVD release and should they do, I would most likely still buy the actual commerical release and throw those bootlegs away, honestly.

You do know that series actually does have a real release don't you? The whole series is on DVD in fact.
