Oh WOW, did I watch that show!! :D I actually thought Gumby the movie was pretty cool as well.
I liked Prickle (Awesome name!). :P

Yeah I remember him. I used to have a plastic gumby toy but I ended up chewing off his hands and feet.

A horse actually, his name escapes me though.
There was Gumby, The horse, Prickle, Goo (a blue girl character), and the two block heads.
I remember watching Gumby. It's like they were bringing quite a few old shows back in the 80s, like that Woody Woodpecker Show and Gumby. Anyway, I liked the show so much, I named my lion that I got for my sixth birthday, "Pokey" after Gumby's pony pal.

man, gumby was cool, until i got older. thne i realized how childish it was, but then remembered it was directed towards little kids in the first place. i think i lose a little respect for something that is directed towards lower-intelected beings, but then again, thats kinda mean, and thats not me saying it. . .its the safeway select cola. . .

Davy and Goliath were awesome!!! :P I have a few of those movies at home.
I love the Mountain Dew commercial that Davy and Goliath were in,
"No Goliath, we got hosed". :lol:

I thought I heard at one time that they were going to release the 80s episodes of Gumby...is that true? Can someone please tell me when they are going to release it?

I always found Gumby's ability to Moonwalk everywhere incredibly sweet :D
Then they introduced Goo. She could fly, shoot wads of blue paste that acted liked Spider-Man webs and even shapeshift to a limited degree.
Then came Bee. Give him a pale of sawdust and old nails, he'd erect any wooden structure you needed in 3 seconds flat. This little guy could own Jesus at carpentry :lol:
Then they upped stuff even more by introducing his relative (cousin, brother, whatever the heck) who welded metal....that would've been the coolest character ever, except they made his "biker" persona a little too much like the guy off the Village People.
