    This is an awesome topic.

Whenever I see a sitcom in syndication and I'm feeling nostalgic, I always think what it would've been like to see only one primetime episode a week...

Call me crazy, but I've had fantasies, if you will, of re-creating a Saturday morning lineup from my early childhood... I'd basically find some episodes of my favorite shows at the time then throw them together with random commercials / "fillers" in between.

    Am I crazy? O_o
    49ers. (STL) Cardinals.
    I miss childhood.

I have Saturday lineups from the 60s, 70s and 80s. You'll get to see those as time marches on. :)

Was WGN's programming different for Chicago viewers than it was for cable subscribers?

Wow I was 6 years old at the time. This seems to be either Spring or Summer....could also be Fall, but the Cubs were playing, so it had to be Spring or Summer, lol. I was probably about to or just finishing kindergarden. Channel 9 was one of my favorite channels as a kid, along with WPWR 50 (Now UPN) and Fox32. I remember when Channel 50 would let kids call in during after school times (when the cartoons played, 2:30pm-5pm) and you could when toys and games. I remember calling a few times without asking my parents permission (the annoucer told us to ask first). Never got anything though.

Yodamite, not really. I have an Aunt and Uncle who regularly watch our local channel 9(WGN) news from Mississippi.
