does anyone remember this movie? i think it brittish. it's about this kid that loses his hair because he sees something really scary, then he learns about this "peanut butter solution" (hence the name) that will make his hair grow, but it doesn't stop. his friend uses it "down below" and there's hair growing out from the bottom of his jeans. it's probably mid-late 80's...

Yup, this was yet another movie which ruled, but you should not show this to any kid too young to understand that it was make believe. This one freaked me out and I honestly felt sorry for the kid who put the solution in his pants.

The movie came out around 86 or 87 I remember Nick showing it on Lights,Camera, Action back in the day . It was cool , fun back then to watch the book was better I thought . Like every movie they get from a book .
man i remember that movie, but very vaguely. i wonder if its available on vhs or dvd.
This movie still comes on Showcase in Canada all the time, I watched it a couple months ago. Its a Canadian movie filmed in Montreal, and Yick from Degrassi is in it! Hes the one who puts the solution in his pants. :D
cool. i've recently become obssesed with watching degrassi, it's on every night here at 1:30am.
we used to have a big movie poster for the peanut butter solution, my mom thought the poster was funny so she bought it then we rented the movie and thought it ruled. i'm gonna make a trip to the video store tonight.

Yeah, I always forget the name of this movie. Doesn't the kid get like really long hair that won't stop growing and they cut it to make paint brushes? I hope I'm thinking of the right one.

The Peanut Butter Solution is one of my childhood movies. I'm from Argentina and this movie was every month on tv on winter break
