Now there was a show you could learn alot from. Any one agree? I Should add I have the DVD the one with the new song about the Electoral College. All the classic songs are on it too.
I honestly did not learn a thing from it.
Beside Scooter Computer and Mr. Chips was much better...

Thanks for pointing that out for me I ment to put that in my original post regular_joe. That is the one I have.
My 5th grade teacher use to play them all the time because she worked for Disney and whored the company on us. I remember one time I couldn't get the Lolly's Adverb song out of my head.

:D It heped me pass a pop quiz in Government class. "Write the Preamble to the Constitution." I started humming the song and the people that watched it caught on.

Conjunction junction what’s your function! Oh man i used to love those! And i also was saved from a test or two by the catchy tunes on the show. They were something to look forward to. Man I'm telling you, I miss stuff like that today. :)

I remember "Mr. Morton is the subject of our sentence and what the predicate says he does...mr. morton walks, mr. morton talks, mr. morton reads, mr. morton loves?"
Unsure about that last part but I remember that helped me ace a grammer test in elementary school and I was HORRIBLE.
School House Rock was nice.
Along with seasame street...I remember thinking I was too cool b/c I could count to ten in spainish as a 4yr old... 8)

Uh I think you misread the topic it is about the Cartoon Show School House Rock It has nothing to do with Rocks outside.

I also remember those little children's commercials that would try to teach children to eat right like that little yellow ball with the top hat and long gangly legs singing, "A hankerin' for a hunk of cheese"
or the Chomper, who looked kind of like the Fonze, singing, "Excercise your chompers, really chew, chew, chew. Excercise your chompers on some good hard food!"
Also, "Look out for the Munchies" and "Don't drown your food!"
