I remember something that aired on Disney in the early 90's, it was an Alice in Wonderland live action movie. I can't remember much about it only it had a dragon (which SCARED me) and it was kinda like a mini series.

Can someone post more information on this?

I've seen this too, the dragon was actually a more serpentine version of the Jabberwocky, a longstanding part of Alice Through the Looking Glass, Lewis Carroll's sequel to Alice in Wonderland.

The film is variously called Alice in Wonderland or Alice Through the Looking Glass, but the important facts is that it was made in 1985 for television audiences. It was so long it was shown in two parts, so it's running time was probably around four hours.

Here's imdb.com's page for Alice Through the Looking Glass.

Mostly I remember the Jabberwocky scene, the woman thinking everything needed, "lots of pepper!" the chess pieces, and the pudding dessert that Alice kept trying to cut, but would reform (it had to be passed to every person who wanted some, and then it would break into pieces, because, it's a "backwards world").
"Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the good deeds along with the ill, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest...is silence."

Hmm it was a sequel, that kinda makes sense considering everyone knew Alice.

Adventures in Wonderland was the live-action TV show that aired for a while on Disney. I don't remember being very entertained by it, but I do remember plopping myself down in front of the TV to watch it anyway.

              >_> Yeah I knew someone would just go and suggest Adventures in Wonderland...

Heads up: No I am not talking about the Tv Show.

I remember another scene. The Queen of Hearts and the other Wonderland natives throw Alice a party and give her a gift. Alice opens it up and out comes that scary, black, yellow glowing eyed dragon. Every one is frightened.

It's amazing what you notice when you grow up and then go back and watch something you haven't seen in years. We taped that Alice in Wonderland movie off TV, but I hadn't watched it in years. One day during spring break, I decided to watch it again to see how much I could remember, and also because there were lots of commercials from 1990.

So the opening credits are rolling, and I'm trying to see if I recognized any famous names. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the Mock Turtle was played by...Ringo Starr! Later in the movie, Alice meets the Walrus and the Carpenter; it would've been GENIUS casting if they could've got Paul McCartney to play the Walrus (Beatles fans will understand why).

I actually remembered many of the songs, like "Father William" and the song the Cheshire Cat sings to Alice. The Jabberwocky scared me when I was a kid, and I thought it killed the White Knight.

there was another one that came on in like 97 or 98 probably, with whoopi goldberg as the cheshire cat. that was actually pretty entertaining, i thought.

This alice in wondeland movie was actually on abc or something like that it was on he disney channel. They may have later shown in on disney but i started out as just a tv-movie. It MIGHt have been a disney sunday movie thing but im not sure. It had pat morita, ringo starr as someone else pointed out and uncle jesse from full house and bo bridges(i know thats not how you spell his name but lol)and tons and tons of other famous people doing cameos. Sammy davis jr was the caterpiller.
