Does anyone have, know where to find, or remember that Candy Bar commercial from the 90's I believe?

It was about a thick headed guy going for a job interview with a stodgy old boss named "Dumass" and the guy kept saying things like "I'm a really go-getter dumbass material all the way, I'll put the dumb in ass mr. dumbass, so am I your man, Mr. Dumbass?"

Then Dumass gets angry and tells him its prounounced "Du-Mos".

I can remember the tagline for the product was "That's pretty thick-headed" and there were a series of them.

Second best commercials of all-time next to the classic "Real Men of Genius" commercials. :D

You might be right, I think it came out around the 1998-1999 time. Though, I could be wrong. :?

I remember the one where the guy is with his wife and is watching the tape of his bachelor party: "Boy, was that embarrassing! Here, let me rewind it." That's the best one they ever did.

At the end of the commercial, Mr. Dumass says "What a dumbass!".

That's funny how something as trivial as a commercial will just stick in your memory. The human brain works in mysterious ways.

I remember when I threw up over the TV at two, but I can't remember my first day of school, go figure!

I hate it when people have awkward last names and they're pronounced different from the obvious pronounciation. Like, the Dumass commercial, I can see the 'dum' part being pronounced 'doom', but the 'ass' part, I've only ever seen one pronounciation of 'ass'.

Another example: Bruce Cockburn. He's been a renowned singer in Canada for decades, but they pronounce 'Cockburn' as 'Coburn'. That's stupid. If you have a last name that denotes gonnorhea, it should be pronounced that way.

Hahaha I fondly remember that commercial :) Especially at the end where Mr. Dumass goes, "What a dumbass!"

I also remember this commercial for Smart Beep, where a man and woman are about to go out on a date, and the man lets the woman in his car. The woman looks around carefully, then launches a loud fart. Then the man gets in the driver's side, points to the backseat and says, "Have you met Greg and Janice?" Janice says cheerfully, "We sure did!" Then the man says, "We've got chemistry here, you feel it?" Janice replies, "I felt it!" The man says, "All right, Janice!"

A true classic. You can see the commercial here:
