I remember a commercial from the 70's that was supposed to discourage kids from smoking, it was animated the main quote from that commercial I remember was: 'Smoke is no Joke'. It usually showed animals trying to smoke, one was two squirrels finding a cigarette in the woods and trying to light it, another character came along, I can't remember who it was maybe it was Smokey Bear telling them not to smoke. Some of you over 30's may remember it.
I also remember the 'MR. YUCK Commercials about what to do to prevent poisoning, telling parents to get stickers to put on household cleaners, etc, and telling kids to keep away from containers with the stickers on them.

I have a Mr. Yuck tshirt somewhere.

My mom had the mister yuck stickers underneath the kitchen sink lol.

I remember the stickers, but not the commercials. When I moved from my old house 3 or 4 years ago I found a really old Mr. Yuk sticker on a closet floor. I kept it and it now it's on the bulletin board above the computer, lol.

When I was little, I stuck one on my brother's bedroom door, since it was always "yucky" in there. :lol:

if I remember correctly, it goes... " Smoke-is-no-joke! not even for a chipmunk or a rabbit, Smoking is bad for a girl or a boy.....la la la la"
