Does anyone remember Orbitz? It was a clear fruit drink that had these little balls floating around in there...it was GOOD!!! In junior high, this was the trendy accessory; if you were seen walking around with a bottle of Orbitz, you were considered cool ;)

I'm afraid it's gone for good(at least I haven't seen it since the late '90s). I personally thought it was disgusting, but maybe that's an acquired taste. I had to try one because MuchMusic did a concentrated blitz of promotion for like a year. It seemed like it was impossible to find, too. Which made you even hipper if you had one. Thay anticipated the Bubble tea fad by almost a decade though, I'll give'em that.

I actually remember vomiting up the balls, shortly after I drank it! :lol:
I never got so sick after drinking a soda in my life, but I'm an idiot so I'll try it again if I ever see it. :wink:

Orbitz was nasty. I guess it did look sorta cool, but it tasted like ass...

Orbitz is gone forever :( Maybe I'll buy a bottle on eBay and keep it around, who knows, it could increase in value. One seller is starting his bid at $5.

i remember that stuff, although i never actualy tried it because i kept hearing it was disgusting, and as i recall, it was a bit pricey because it was the "it" thing... i should have tried it though, because what most people hate i like... my friend had one on his mantle... it reminds me of a lava lamp...

i remember that drink.. i think i still have a bottle some where it was the one with the yellow balls in it.. it came out when i was a junior in high school and my dad thought it was pretty cool looking...
