Back in the day i used to be scared by the album covers of slayer, iron maiden, judas priest, megadeth, w.a.s.p., and quiet riot. And i have to say im glad i never saw the cover of king crimson's "in the court of the crimson king" otherwise i think i would have never walked into a record store again. Was anyone else scared by album cover art?
The cover of the Who's Face Dances scared the crap out of me as a kid.

King Diamond and Necrophagia both have some awesome album art that flipped me out when I was a kid. Too bad the music sorta sucks (though King Diamond has some interesting stories on his concept-albums).

When I was younger and at the record store, I was scared of Ozzy Osbourne's "Speak Of The Devil" album cover and AC/DC's "If You Want Blood" album cover. Also Black Sabbath's "Born Again" cover.
IRON MAIDEN...any album from IRON MAIDEN was scary as hell. :shock:

That's a bad copy of the photo. I couldn't find a decent one online. Up close, the man is faceless. Also, it's hard to see, but he's missing his wrists and his leg is detached from his foot. At two years old, it gave me nightmares. :shock:

but on an honest note, the creepiest album covers IMO are a few of megadeth's.
