Anybody remember the Pizza Hut commercial that played before the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles VHS movie? I was going to come on this board to ask if anybody had it, but I decided to go to YouTube first.

I can't believe I knew most of the words even now, me and my brother wore that video tape out. We recently bought all three TMNT movies on DVD, sadly the Pizza Hut commercial is not on there.

What's funny about that is that Dominos pizza, Pizza hut's rival company, was the Pizza the Ninja turtles ate in the movie. :lol:

I was thinking the same thing.
I have the TMNT movie copied off of WPIX-TV a few years ago, but it doesn't have the old Pizza Hut commercial during the early 90's since it was part of the "Makin' It Great!" champaign. The slogan that I remember since I was a kid. I missed that commercial. It was on the first VHS release called "TMNT: The Movie", it has the old FHE logo with a moog synthesizer. That was kinda creepy. "TMNT: The Movie" was the first and only film to release on VHS with the FHE logo and it does not have the New Line Cinema logo at the very beginning and end of the film, you'll might see the old New Line Cinema logo at the beginning of the film on DVD.

A copy that I recently found in my house does not have this commercial on the tape. It just goes to the FHE logo or film depending on what the order is. The only product that is in my tape collection is a Pepsi one on Innerspace before the copyright warning.

For some reason I'm thinking there was a parody of this commercial somewhere... Like a cartoon show. Maybe it was just coincidental.
Yes have that one (the movie), its a kid playing baseball, he plays right field, a folk song plays something like "I play right field, and it is important". We also have one of the TV show TMNT one with a burger king commercial on it, with the Burger king kids club guys, because well that is where we got it from. It was when they were selling them in the 80s 3 different tapes "April Foolish", "Sky Turtles", and "The great Bondini". We also have the Land Before Time tape with the pizza hut commercial. The one with this kid going to a birthday party, and his mom is giving him a bunch of rules to follow at the party, and he dose his own version of the rules his mom gave him. They were cute commercials, pretty sweet.

Yep Yep. It is so 80s, the music, the clothes, and even the way the kids act.
I still got the VHS TMNT movie with it on there, I still know the lyrics to the hole song lol
It's kind of funny it's a Pizza Hute commercial on the movie, but in the movie they had Dominos Pizza in there! :lol:

I remmber that like I remember the McDonalds commerical on the Anti-Drug movie with every cartoon character of the day. I forget the name of that though, that makes me sad. :cry:

I think it was called "Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue". :wink:
