What ever happened to Waffle Crisp? I remember trying it once and i had mixed reactions to it.

    I ws going to post something about this, but I never got around to it.

    I was grocery shopping and I decided I wanted to get some Waffle Crisp. I found none. However I did get some Eggo cereal that was comperable.

      The thing I didn't understand about Waffle crisp was Waffles are breakfast food and cereal's a breakfast food, why have something like waffles if you could just have actual waffles instead. However, I guess you could say the same about Cinnamon Toast Crunch and that's been a constant favorite with most people. btw talking about CTC weren't there orginally 3 bakers on the box what happened to the other two? dun du dunnnnnnn!

        Indeed there were. Maybe they got on the wrong side of Judd Hirsch, too :lol:

        You could have real fruit instead of Froot Loops, but who wanted to?

        And is it just me, or are Waffle Crisp and French Toast Crunch the exact same bloody thing?

            There was an old commercial, I forget the context, but Wendell had a big pencil and used the eraser to rub out the other two.

              LOL, I think my stepmom bought these at the store recently! They look like waffles, sorta...they had a syrup taste. They actually taste nasty, after a while. I don't have the box to REALLY know what they are, becuase we just keep the bags sealed without the box in out food closet.

                          This has got to be on of the best cereals ever, behind Fruity Pebbles. They still make it, but only certain stores still carry it. I tried the Eggo, it wasn't bad but i think it was to sweet. I usually stick with cereals like cheerios and Kix but occassionally I need that sugar fix. Anyone ever try the French Toast cereal, that's another ggod one.

                            I think I had them once or twice. They tasted like crunchy syrup. Didn't the commercial have like a drop of syrup drop into the middle of each one?
