This post is not only for Canadians, but is only for kids/young adult shows (cartoons and/or live action) created in Canada from the '60 to the '90s, to give a time period, however it could be later than that. If you remember a show that was from Canada and aired in your part of the world, please post about it here.

Some of the shows I remember are (granted the majority are live action shows):

Passe-Partout
Read All About It
You Can't Do That On Television
The Hilarious House of Frightenstein
Putnam's Prairie Emporium
Blizzard Island
The Elephant Show (aka: Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show)
Danger Bay
The Kids of Degrassi Street
Degrassi Junior High
Degrassi High
Romper Room (there were Canadian versions)
Readalong
The Rockets
Rocket Robin Hood
The Racoons
The Friendly Giant

Okay, that's enough from me now, anyone else have any?!

    droids cartoon
    ewoks cartoon
    inspector gadget
    my pet monster
    little bear
    babar
    eek the cat
    donkey kong country

Yes it was, however, I never saw it myself.

I forgot about Canada's "The Wonder Years", and that was: "Max Glick", which was based on the movie "The Outside Chance of Maximilian Glick".

I hope no one even mentioned anything done by Cinar, another Canadian production company. Two of my favorites were The Busy World of Richard Scarry, and Are You Afraid of the Dark? (the latter I was too frightened to watch, especially with the opening sequence, but the former was what I enjoyed the most.)

Has anyone heard of Incredible Story Studios, an award-winning show from the late-90s where everyday children send in their own ideas to be written for the show? That show in fact was Canadian, and to prove it, I have the show on two separate store-bought DVD's, each with four different episodes on it.

It's actually Penner. I met him back in the late '90s or the really early 2Ks, during Toronto's winter festival, he is extremely tall!

                            Anyone remember:

F.R.O.G. (Friends of Research and Odd Gadgets), it had a young Lani Billard, who'd go on to play "Busy Ramone" in Ready or Not.

We watched it at the group home -- Woodside unit at Allancroft -- I was in in Beaconsfield, Quebec during the '80s and all the kids would watch it, from 7 to 12 years of age.
