I remember the Ninja fad that set in during the early/mid 80s. Throwing stars, black outfits and those funky two-toed boots. What are your memories? I recall the various "colored" outfits (Stormshadow, etc.) for action figures and costuming, while there was a weird phase in which NINJAs were equipped with not so elegant and silent weapons - machine guns/grenades . . . not so stealthy, eh?

Wow! it's been a while since i've logged on. I think the last time was Christmas night.
    LOL anyways.
I remember the best ninja movie was American Ninja!

Me, my bro and my sis, had every colour plastic ninja swords. I had a green one, that my bro customized into a black and green one. We played a lot in the backyard. My bro would either be Sunka(cool runnings) or Joe(american ninja). My sis would be Chun Li. And i would always be the bad guy, The Black Star Ninja.
    mmmm, good times.

NINJA III:THE DOMINATION has a hilarious scene in which someone (I think a cop) obliterates a granite gravestone with a night stick!

The weird import weapon shop in the mall had all kinds of ninja equipment . . . grappling hooks, stars, katannas, boots and even some odd weapons that you had to ask for . . . Man, I didn't know there was a ninja underground in Tyler, Texas circa 1985.

I took karate classes back in the mid 80s. I always wanted to be a ninja as a kid. To this day, I still want to be a ninja, I used to go see ninja movies, watch cartoons about ninjas and even brought action figures that looked like ninjas. I was a weird guy back then.

I remember watching 3 Ninjas religiously. Pretty much, if I saw a movie that even had the potential to be associated with ninjas, I'd have to rent it. I think I owned a few ninja stars as well.

I was huge into Ninja movies. My obsession started in the Mid-80's, as a very young kid, I'm talking 3 or 4, until around the mid-90's. My 3 favorite Ninja movies, were the first three ninja movies directed by Sam Firstenberg: Revenge of the Ninja, Ninja III: The Domination and American Ninja.
