I'm having a problem remembering a specific stop motion(i think) show. My main problem is that I'm from Greece and most(if not all) of the cartoons that have aired here, have their names and the voices in greek. The show I'm interested in aired in Greece in the late 80's maybe early 90's but I have no idea when it first started. The vague images I have from it:
-There was a little town
-The creatures living there were somewhat like rodents
-They were white and furry
-I'm pretty sure it was stop motion but I'm not sure(i was 6-8 yrs old then)
-There was a main elder character whose name in greek was "uncle vladimir" but I don't no if this is just bad translation.
-The Greek name of the show could be translated in English as "people who are tidy"

Kinda sounds like "the wombles".
it's about a bunch of wombles that go around cleaning up wimbledon in england.....from memory.
the elder character is called Great Uncle Bulgaria.
