Hello,

This is another spinoff thread of the Discontinued Food thread. I enjoyed reading the Discontinued Food and Discontinued Soda threads a lot, and it brought back some nice memories for me.

Anyway, I was thinking about the shampoos, conditioners, and soaps that have been discontinued over the years. I started thinking about it because a favorite shampoo of mine has recently been discontinued - Thermasilk. Both the conditioner and shampoo aren't being made anymore, and I haven't been able to find any in stores. Thermasilk, especially the conditioner, worked really well in my oily hair and made it shiny and fluffy. I still have an empty bottle of the conditioner, and I'm planning on saving it for posterity.

Also, I remember some body soap I used as a kid. The caps were made out of plastic Winnie-the-Pooh or Tigger heads, and I used to play with the bottles in the tub at bath time.

I also remember Clairol Herbal Essence's original shampoo.

What shampoos, conditioners, and soaps do you remember that aren't made anymore?

Finesse conditioner used have the most amazing smell. I am not sure if it is me or if it has changed, but just does not seem as exciting anymore..

Crazy Foam..does that still exist? It came in cans and had weird plastic heads through which the foam would shoot out of....great fun!

"Soap carving" kits. Probably a silly craft of the past.

and the best of all..."GEE, Your Hair Smells Terrific" shampoo in the purple bottle!

There was one called Agree I haven't seen in years that I used to use. I thought it smelled really nice, but that's the only special thing I can remember about it.
