Yes I do remember quite well. I was working at Taco Bell when this was popular. I have a few Taco Bell Chiwawas still.

Mabey Taco Bell should use a talking cactus to advertise, it could have shades and a sombrero(sp?). That dog was soo cute, does anyone know who it's owner was?
Oh man. Don't even talk about damn Taco Bell when I'm this starving.
I think the dog actually attracted more buisness for taco bell back in the 90s.
Not to mention an explosion of people owning those little trembling pups and carrying them around in their purses!
Makes you wish some chinese reteraunt would start serving those little critters as retribution.

Haha is it from Taco Time? my bad, i forgot all about that place i've never eaten there and i dont think there are any near where i live. Oddly enough i've only seen a Taco Time once in my life.
Gidget, the star of the Taco Bell commercials, is the same dog that plays Bruiser's mother in "Legally Blonde 2".

I remember when they use to sell the plush toy Chihuahua dogs. I still have two of them. One of the still works and it says "Yeah, drop the chalupa."
I had wanted a plush Taco Bell dog, but I never got one. I liked most of the commercials with dog in them. I just like talking animals in commercials.
I hated those fucking commercials. They were popular in my 9th grade year, which was from 1997 to 1998 and was a year spent in a special education school that didn't fit my needs. Nothing like hearing mentally challenged kids saying that phrase all the time. :(
