what's the difference between a pixie and a faerie? I always just assumed that pixies were cooler.
a lot of "fantsy" names are interchangeable
The difference is where they originated. Pixies originated in the British Isles/are more Celtic, and fairies are a general Western European thing. They are pretty much the same creature.
