In August 2003--nearly 10 years ago, perhaps--a two-part episode of Samurai Jack aired on Cartoon Network. The following year, it won a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program, no less.

It is basically a prequel to the Premiere Movie, and it is something that explains the origins of the evil shape-shifting demon wizard Aku, as well as the origins of Samurai Jack's magic sword, and how Samurai Jack's dad, The Emperor of Japan, fought Aku and brought about his 'jailtime' by locking up Aku's remains and demon forces deep in the earth--so that he tree-like 'jailhouse' could stick out admist the damage that the Shogun of Sorrow has wrought.

That two-part Samurai Jack episode is called "The Birth of Evil".

I have done two things in preparation for the 10th anniversary of Samurai Jack: The Birth of Evil Parts one and two.

First off, I have done two versions of a fanmade Photoshop collage tribute poster that I had done today for that two-part Emmy Award-winning Samurai Jack episode that is Birth of Evil:

Secondly I am starting this thread so those who have seen or remembered seeing Samurai Jack and/or its Emmy Award-winning two-parter Birth of Evil could talk and reminiscence about this show and/or Birth of Evil.

And so, here we go.

Do you remember the two-part Emmy Award-winning Samurai Jack episode Birth of Evil? Do you like it or not? What is your favorite part(s) from Birth of Evil?

Well, what's your word or review on Birth of Evil, the two-part Emmy Award-winning Samurai Jack episode that I'm talking about?

Actually, The Birth of Evil is a real two-part episode of Samurai Jack that first aired in August 2003 on Cartoon Network, and the following year (2004, that is) it beat up Spongebob, Simpsons, Futurama and South Park to win the Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Animated Program (For Programming Less than One Hour).

Like I have said, Birth of Evil can be found on the Samurai Jack season three DVD and therefore, Birth of Evil is real.

Those pictures are obviously Photoshopped though. And I seem to recall in a candid interview on 60 minutes (Also a Emmy Award winner) that Genndy Tartakovsky said that Birth of Evil was in fact, and I quote, "A spoof" and "Not canon in line with the original vision of Samurai Jack."

Well, I know it's been ten years past since the 2003 two-part Samurai Jack episode The Birth of Evil won an Outstanding Animated Program Emmy Award back in 2004, but recently I have this unusual idea or thought, and here it goes:

Would it be REALLY cool, awesome, or even epic if Genndy Tartakovsky's Emmy-Award Winning Birth of Evil episodes from his cult TV animation show, Samurai Jack, is being presented, shown and reissued in the giant, and amazingly eye-popping IMAX format?

And would that be really cool, epic, awesome, interesting or even amazingly awe-inspiring, breathtaking, eye-popping, immersive, mind-blowing, and spectacular even as an animated cartoon kind of IMAX Experience or what?
