I used to LOVE those when I was a kid! Back in the very early 1970s when the Jack and Jill ice cream truck came up my street, I always got a Push-Up. Back then they were called "Rockets", with the cardboard tube being white with red and blue planets, stars and "USA" markings, and at one point, if I remember correctly, a plastic "nose cone" in place of the wrapper covering the ice cream, which was vanilla and chocolate. This was probably to commemorate the Apollo moon missions of the late 1960s and early 1970s. My parents later believed that Push-Ups were a waste of money, since they thought that we were paying more for the name and the packaging than for the ice cream, and as a result, started to discourage me from buying them. Anyway, do you remember Push-Ups being called Rockets? Did you get them because of their rocket/space theme?
