When I was in day care 1988-1994 I used to watch a movie everyday, and I can't remember the name of it. It had a young women with the name Melody, a person dressed as a spider who had a lot of shoes, and I think a little boy and girl. It probably wasn't very popular, like I said I think it was a low budget, PBS type of things. If anyone remembers anything, PLEASE let me know!!!

Thanks!!

this question is very important, was it live action, animated, or puppeted
also another question that comes to mind when reading wiki's pbs history, where were
you a kid at, because programming can change just based on that
do you hail from the u.s., canada, england, etc... that could also help

I can give you some suggestions that I have found from pbs

    Puzzle Place

    Wimzie's House

    Polka Dot Door

now I had not looked though the plots that much, but just see if one of them rings a bell

two things come to mind when I think about this. 1) have you ever heard of the elephant show
it had a spider with many legs and had tennis shoes on it's feet.

    2) this also reminds me of beverly clearly and judy blume books if that helps to ring a bell

i'll keep an eye out for your next comment on this post and good luck on your search

Was it"Melody Magic"? I THINK it was a Wee Sing movie..about a boy and girl I think at the begining playing chopstix on a piano and somehow they run into this woman named melody who has "lost her song" and they go looking for it and run into a variety of mother goose type charactors, one of whom could be the itsy bitsy spider..and at the end she finds herself and her "song" and turns into like a really beautiful woman, almost fairy looking and she sings"Melody magic...it's easy to beleive. There's a special song inside of me"
