Does anyone remember that 90's rocker haircut? It was where the barber pins up the back and side of your hair, and shaves underneath it. I tried to get one around 1996/1997, but I didn't do it right, and my hair wasn't long enough.

Yeah, it was called the "Under-cut" when I was at school. I had that hair style from late '95 through to early '97.
There's a girl that works at my local McDonald's who has an undercut. It doesn't work so well on women. Haha.

I hated that haircut. One kid at my school had that haircut and we mocked him. He was a huge grunge fan and wore nothing but flannel jeans and plaid shirts.

I still have that hairstyle, like Jason Newstead had in the early '90s.
Undercuts are awesome if they are done right. It even looks awesome on girls too. It looks cool tied back in a pony tail.
Yes I do remember that. I had a simular style around 1995 , but had to put a bunch of gel in my hair because it would always stick up.

I only like them if the hair is medium/long and then it's shaved underneath.....like you'd only be able to tell that they had an undercut if they tied their hair back. I think it's cool.

I had a fairly short undercut - the fringe came down to just below my eyes. But I had a friend with fuzzy red hair that would tie it back like that. He looked like Davey Crocket.
