It doesn't take a genius to figure out, even if you didn't lived those times, that the success of George Lucas' cashcow back in the late 70s would spring a veritable batallion of Dink-Dink merchadise imitators. There are probably waaaay too many to even bother listing them. The following, however, are the ones I had or remember seeing on the shelves:
I think,in fact I'm willing to bet money, that the very first knock off that came out was this from Ideal (purveyors of all crappy toys back then):

It was such a blatant steal that Lucas even sued Ideal, who claimed it was based on an older toy line. Oh,c'mon Ideal, just look at the freakling package!

And let's not even begin with this "Star Hawk" thingmajing

Another thriving toy sub-section that benefited from the Death Star's boom was that of rayguns that made all sort of ear-grating sounds. Chief among those was this baby:

You may be crying foul at the criminally obvious copycatting name and packaging, but thing was the Holy Grail of ray guns back in 1979. It even came with a voice modulator!
Fast forward to the early 80s,I'm walking thru an awesome hobby store that was in my town back then and my eyes caught this in one of the shelves:

I remember even back then laughing at the blatant imitation. I don't think I would've been as impressed if I saw that thing stomping on fleeing rebel soldiers...
Finally, this is not a toy but even back then it inflated my moral outrage for being so freaking obvious:

Oh yeah,those are totally NOT
Thai Fighters...
