man, i've gotta say, i've liked the entire 1998 episodes, but after craig mccracken let the series into someone else's hands around 2003, i didn't like the new episodes. there was one last episode made called "chicken scratch" which dexter gets chicken pox... and turns into a chicken... unlike past dexter episodes, the animation in that episode was all over the place

I understand, Bejanime. As for the show, everyone may have pretty much written off Dexter’s Laboratory after the newer 2001-2003 seasons. But let’s hope a project like my Dexter’s Odyssey Project (if it’ll ever be made) or so could be much, much, better than the Dexter’s Laboratory redo from 2001-2003.
Anyway, After the Ego Trip movie, Dexter’s Laboratory has suffered terrible treatments, including changes in character/animation/background designs, alternative storylines and altered character backgrounds, and even Dexter’s new voice, Candi Milo.
But hopefully, if I’ll ever make my Dexter’s Odyssey project, I’ll do my best to get it right, by doing away with the problems inflicted on Dexter’s Laboratory (including Mandark’s hippie parents), and by taking the original Dexter’s Lab and Powerpuff Girls characters (especially Mandark’s one-time sister, Olga Lalavava, and Dee Dee’s friends, Lee Lee and Mee Mee) and the original character designs, look, style, depth, flavor, etc. (especially those from the first 2 seasons of Dexter’s Lab, the Ego Trip movie, and even the Powerpuff Girls Movie), and add a better storyline (in the form of an epic 9-part 27-hour epic (released in 9 three hour segments but made at the same time (using 24-P HD Digital Video, HD Digital 3D stereoscopic video, and even the large 70mm IMAX format, but composed in a 2.40:1 aspect ratio for all 9 films) as well as combining live action with CGI, 2D traditional hand drawn animation, Special and Visual Effects wizardry both old and new, live action, miniature model, and digital environments and matte paintings, etc., in a similar manner to Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings films (and his subsequent 2005 remake of King Kong), Jurassic Park, and even Who Framed Roger Rabbit, as well as similar to, using the motifs of, and in the league of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc., but with a gritty realism and a historical regard for the fantasy and science fiction elements or so), better humor, etc.
Well, Benjanime, I’ll do my best to do so.
