I have been watching old nick shows on youtube a lot and lately really missng my childhood : ( Recently, while searching around the internet, I heard that Noggin is going to become a Nick Jr. channel in Sept. 2009, and The N is going to become Teenick again. Anyway, I saw on the program listing, allegra's window, eureka's castle etc. I freaked out! lol

I used to love these shows as a child ( especially allegra's window) I am sooo excited : D

Noggin used to show The Electric Company and Bill Nye the Science Guy? Wow...
That aside, I wish they could go a bit further back with older shows. In other words, 80s Nick Jr....as that's pretty much what I watched most, and early 90s Nick Jr., but only when I was home from school, and even then, I would've been considered "old" for it. lol
Wouldn't surprise me if Nick didn't have the rights to those shows or something.

I highly doubt those shows will air, I don't believe stuff like that unless there's a source, which there isn't. So don't count on it, when Noggin becomes Nick Jr, all the shows that air now will stay on the network with no classic additions.

I have seen Gullah Gullah Island on Noggin recently ( like last week) so I figured if Gullah Gullah Island came back why can't Allegra's Window or Eureka's Castle come back too. Gullah Gullah island was on around the same time those shows were...anyway, I really do hope this will happen : /

Much like the old Nick Rewind channel rumor, I'm not going to believe in this rumor until I actually see an official source.

Boy, do I miss Face. I was trying to explain the concept of Face to my little brother and he was just confused. I remember Face said that he liked peanut butter and banana sandwiches and every time I eat one now, I think of Face.

if they bring back david the gnome, THEN i'll watch it
Does anyone know when they started putting shows like David the Gnome and Noozles in their Nick Jr. block? Originally, it was apart of Nickelodeon, as Nick Jr. used to end early back in those days, and mostly consisted of Pinwheel, Adventure of the Lil Koala, Elephant Show, and Mapletown.

Never heard of "Phred on your head". Must be way later. As for Face...I'm going to blame my age for my not liking it. lol
aww, no Pinwheel, Today's Special, David the Gnome, or The Elephant Show...what are kids learning from TV nowadays??

Fred Penner's Place was a pretty good show too. I also want to see if they'll ever bring back Eureeka's Castle.
I'd like Nick to bring back the shows from the 80's though it's never going to happen.

I remember Allegra's Window, Eureeka's Castle, The Noozles, The Adventures of The Little Koola, Maya the Bee, Blue's Clues, Gullah Gullah Island, Muppet Babies, Littl' Bits, Maple Town, The Busy World of Richard Scarry, Rubert, and Little Bear. I'll explain more later.
