In case you don't know, the Disney renassiance was an era from 1989 to 1999 when Disney was making successful, traditional 2D animated films one after the other. The films are:
The Little Mermaid (1989)
Rescurers down under (1990)-(Somehow this film is apart of the bunch.)
Beauty and the Beast (1991)
Aladdin (1992)
Lion King (1994)
Pocohantas (1995)
Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996)
Hercules (1997)
Mulan (1998)
Tarzan (1999)
After the release of Tarzan, Disney just seemed to lose its luster. The only 2D Disney film after 2000 to be a commercial success AND get favorable reviews was 2002's Lilo & Stitch Anyway list which films you like, dislike, whatever (refere to the films above.) Thanks

My favorite was the Lion King, by far. It's the only one I would still watch on my own.

Aladdin. I really didn't like Kimba the White Lion that much. Oh, I meant the Lion King.

Do you know what a renaissance is? It'd probably make more sense if you did.

Yes, I'm aware. I just didn't known Disney fell into a dark age in the 70's and 80's.

I like Mulan, Little Mermaid (the first one the most), of course Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty And The Beast. And it's not exactly the renaissance period of Disney, but I've always really, really, loved The Black Cauldron.

                                    Aladdin is my favorite.

I know that Disney's renaissance era began with The Little Mermaid...but where do most people believe it ended at? I've heard some people say that The Lion King was the last renaissance movie, and Disney started going downhill with Pocahontas...while others say that Tarzan was the last movie of the renaissance.

Beauty and the Beast. Great animation, good character development, excellent character designs and songs flow well with the movie's pace and don't become show stoppers.

I'm not a big Disney fan but this film does stand out as one of their best productions, animated or live action.

Not on the list, but in that time period, Oliver and Company was always one of my favorites. I guess i'm the only one but I really kind of hated The Lion King.
