One thing I loved as a kid was superhero cartoons. Most of them actually got me into the comic book they were based off of. My five favorites were Batman: The animated series(Also Batman Beyond), X-Men (90's), Spider-Man (90's), Superman: The animated series and the more recent Justice League/Unlimited. Other shows like Hulk, Iron Man, X-Men evolution are good but I don't really care for them as much as my above five (six). Your thoughts?

Hm. Superhero cartoons I liked were: Spiderman (90s), Batman: TAS, he New Batman Adventures (mainly because of the addition of Robin), Teen Titans (guess it counts, even though I was an adult with this show). I didn't care much for superhero shows it seems. I was interested in Batman Beyond, though, when it first came out, but didn't care for it when I saw it.

X-Men, wasn't a big fan of. Superman: TAS, didn't care for either. Justice League, Superfriends, same thing. Wasn't a big fan of it.

I just got back into the 90's Marvel bandwagon beginning this year. I also noticed after watching the Amazing Spider-man, I find Spider-man and Friends just as enjoyable.

Batman TAS is unrivaled in its greatness, Justice League is also a big favorite. Also even though its new Spectacular Spider-Man is also a can't miss for me.

I am in love with the old cartoons from the 60's. For some reason I find them incredible. I really like the Fantastic Four cartoon from the 90's. Plus it had such an awesome theme song.

I love the X-MEN from the 90s. I have them on DVD but I still haven't opened them. I just watch them on the internet. My second favorite would have to be Batman from 90s then Batman Beyond. Then it would have to be Spiderman from the 90s. I did like the Superman from the 90s too but not one of my top. I don't remember the Hulk cartoon that well or the Ironman one.

The superhero cartoons of the 80s had such a cheesy appeal to them. I was at a con and just picked up the 1981 Spider-Man series as well as the Amazing Friends series. They both have this weird innocence to them, but they were fun. Nothing near the comic, but just a good time. Love them both. The 90s X-Men series I was a HUGE fan of as well as the Batman Animated Series. Anyone out there into the HBO Spawn series that came out in the late 90s?

I have to go with "Batman: The Animated Series" and the 90s "X-Men" series. Both were excellent examples.

Here's a surprise, something's going on with the original "Fantastic 4" series from 1967 that aired on ABC. References to this old cartoon keep showing up all over the web. Sure, I liked it then and I admire it now. This was the only Superhero Cartoon that both my mom and dad watched with me back in 1967. Even my crazy sister liked the episode about "Galactus".

This is embarrassing, I started buying F4 comics because of the TV show. I have to admit, the '67 version is probably the best adapted version of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby's overall concept of the Fantastic 4. The intro music is very unusual and I've never forgotton it:

The 70's cartoons Superfriends and their names they change too, Batman, Spider-Man, Isis, Plastic Man, Spider- Woman, and The Fantasic Four/ The Thing. The 80's cartoons Superfriends and their other names they change too, Spider- Man and His Amazing Friends, The Incredible Hulk, Superman, Captain Marvel, Batman,X- Men and TMNT. The 90's Batman The Animated Series (the good ones of the first seasons not the lame animation of the last seasons), Superman TAS, Static Shock, Batman Beyond, Spider- Man, X-men,and TMNT ( The older ones not that stupid going into the future bad animation one).

I was watching JLA Unlimited on DVD I still wonder why the make some heroes as buff as Superman?Like Green Arrow all he does is shoot arrows he should be 190 pounds.Green Lantern his ring has the power not him give him a beer gut for all I care.

Thats why I liked Mighty Heroes they were skinny and fat.

I never really got into super hero cartoons when I was young, but right now I absolutely love Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited, and, this is gonna sound weird, but Ben 10 (the first series).

Totally dug old Spuerfriends. I felt like the show grew up with me. Especially in it's last season when it was called Super Powers Team and they explored some deaper themes, like Batman's origin. It was the first time I saw a murder depicted on Saturday morning TV.

I also liked the Marvel cartoons of the time. They always seemed to be more mature then the DC ones.

Later on as I read comics as a tween-teen I appriciated what they did with X-Men and Spiderman. (90's)
