Am I the only one that remembers the Pizza Hut mascot from the 90's? It was a slice of pizza, with black olives for the eyes, and I think a pepper for the nose. No clue what his mouth was.

Anyone remember him? Anyone remember what his name was? I can not remember for the life of me!

I also remember the Pizza Hut mascot from the 90s. His name is Pizza Head, and he's been in many Pizza Hut commercials from the 90s. Here's one commercial with Pizza Head:

I guess some here were thinking of "Pizza Head", a Mr. Bill-clone used in several mid-90's ads for Pizza Hut. Here's a page with a bunch of ads to view!

Of course, for those of the older set (Baby Boom/Gen-X), there's this guy, "Pizza Hut Pete"!

The Noid was for Domino's Pizza.

It was slightly before my time as well (by at least a couple years, but they continued to use the character in some circles into the 80's).

When I was in high school, Pizza Hut Pete was all over every Pizza Hut I saw. He was quite distinctive from a distance. If you guys think Pizza Hut is good now, wish you could've been with me in the 70's. Pete was the sign of the best pizza in town! I really miss ol' Pete.

On May 31, 2008, Pizza Hut marked their 50th anniversary in the pizza business. To mark the event, a 176 page, hard-bound "coffee table" book plus jacket cover was published by Melcher Media. The book and cover were packaged in a special pizza box, with Pizza Hut Pete on the cover! Very Classy.

Btw, Pizza Head does remind me of "Mr. Bill" from SNL. He was used in ads too:

Classy building! I remember when it was like that. Shamefully some of these locations tend to wanna get rid of the outside look of those angled windows by placing wooden frames over them to look square these days, phooey on them!

Much in the way Little Caesar's was as well. :P

Back before they even thought about delivery! This was the place you begged your mom to take you to in the whole world and you don't really know why you did it. You just couldn't get that kind of pizza anywhere else.

I have one of these! Had a really funky circular design on the back.

Oh yeah, that's the way I remember Pizza Hut before home delivery, all the time. I'm amazed that you were able to film anything, PH used to keep it dark inside. Guess that was mood lighting. There was a PH down the street fom my school and it was so dark inside it was hard to read the menu, LOL!

It was always like torture, the pizza was brought out right from the oven. HOT!!!

Man it was tough having to wait for it to cool enough so as not to burn the inside of your mouth. It was funny to watch little kids play with a slice of pizza hot enough to burn. Anyone that wasn't careful, there goes a whole glass of ice water to stop the pain!

Well, it was an old video camera to begin with. Those cameras didn't have good low-lighting intensity levels. My mom videotaped that after my older brother's confirmation deal at the local Catholic church. I do remember it being pretty dark though. There might've been a Pac-Man table video game as well.

I remember pizza hut pete well in the early to mid 70's. Sorry guys, i was reminded of a little caesar pizza hut commercial from about 20 years ago and I had to find it. The one where he teaches his dog to say "i love you".
