Does anyone remember this show? The plot of this show revolved around a librarian that was locked in a witch’s tower and had to create books by placing items into a machine. The machine then would spit out a book. The witch made the librarian do this and promised to release her if she created a book that she liked. She always liked them but would lie and say that she disliked the books. I’m pretty sure I have the title of the show right but it's so elusive when looking for any information on the net. I can not find anything on the net about this show. Some of my friends remember the show but nobody is %100 certain of its name. Does anyone have any info about this show? Is the name correct and it on DVD, VHS, YouTube, anywhere? I have not been able to find so much as an article on the net about this show, let alone an actual episode.

This is so wonderful. If this is from the late 70's, I was living in Arizona at the time and the PBS station in Phoenix (KAET-9) never carried this show. But I enjoyed watching the youtube clips of "Once Upon A Time".

I've tried to explain in another forum how the rise of Sesame Street spelled the death of all the other children's programming. The generation who, like me, remembers what PBS was like when local stations produced their own kids shows is growing old. Now I meet people who only know Big Bird, and that's a shame.

The woman who played Marion the Librarian has a daughter, and she has posted a tribute to her mom on youtube:
