So I was watching The Simpsons today, and they were showing Treehouse of Horror XV--the one including the epsidodes "The Ned Zone", in which Ned kills homer, "Four Beheadings and a Funeral", which features Lisa and Bart as detectives, and "In the Belly of the Boss", in which Maggie is accidentally shrunken into a vitamin pill.
Anyways, there's a quick segment at the beginning, featuring the two aliens, Kodos and Kang, called "Keepin' it Kodos". They are cooking the Simpson family for dinner, because thier boss is visiting. After they all eat, the boss vomits Bart back up. He's upset about being an orphan, but the aliens adopt him. Afterward, they play this song...something along the lines of 'standin' tall...on the wings of my dreams...rising up...' that's all I remember. So my "quick question" ( ) is this:
1. What was that 'Keepin' it Kodos' reference to? I mean, was there ever a show like that with a similar title? And if so,
2. What was the name of the <theme> song that they played on The Simpsons?
If anyone can help, I appreciate it :)
