Well, with the good score my first article earned (thank you all by the way); I’ve now on my second one. This one however, is not just about one game. I’ve searched around and compiled a few versions of fake pokemon games for this article. Most are hacks that came from other games, but a few mentioned here are actual hacked pokemon games.
First up, Pokemon breeder version. Basically a hack of either red or blue I can’t remember exactly, where you play Brock instead of Ash (named Red on the game). You can choose either Geodude, Onix, or Vulpix as your starter instead of Charmander, Squirtle, or Bulbasaur in the regular games. There are also versions where you can play a Team Rocket member and choose Mew as a starter, but which ever version you play the original story remains the same. There really should be other versions that let you choose different paths of training like a breeder, gym leader, TR member, or for those who are into the contests, pokemon coordinator. I’m sure many others feel the same. By the way, I apologize for the lack of pictures for these games. There were none on the internet and I couldn’t make any myself.

Next is a game called Pokemon Adventure, another hacked Sonic game though I’m not sure of which system it came from. Anyway some scenes can be recognized from Pokemon Yellow and Gold. You play a weird looking Pikachu who races around like Sonic collecting pokeballs instead of gold rings. If he’s touched by an enemy, he will lose all the pokeballs. Personally, I wouldn’t waste my time on this game.

Now, let’s see what’s next. Um…oh yes, Pocket Monsters Go! Go!. This is a hacked Smurfs game. You guide Pikachu through each level while avoid the evil Bellsprouts and Meowths along the way and collecting lightning bolts to raise his jumping power. But he’s pretty slow so it takes forever to get through the levels.
