I had a great childhood. OK, not really - it was just average, but I did love me some 80's culture and here I am to relive it.
As I ebb toward 30, I find myself clinging to the part of me that's still 6 . While I may occasionally grumble that "They don't make 'em like they used to!" I sometimes add "thank the maker.." All in all, I am pretty convinced that the 70's, 80's, and early 90's were the golden age of childhood media.
Is it egocentric to believe that because I value these things, they are, recognized such or no, indeed the most valuable? So what? Go back to blogging about your crimson sorrow and running out of black hair dye, if you don't like it! Because here is a wonderful website of people to validate me! |
