Spider-Man: Live Action Series

Show Summary

Aired: 1977 - 1978
Show Type: Live Action
Country of Origin: US

This unauthorized television adaptation of the massively popular comic book series actually had its share of fans, but not enough to keep it alive for very long. The Spiderman of today, made even more popular by the blockbuster movies, is of a...*ahem*... slightly higher ilk than this low budget production. Granted, there were'nt any fancy computer effects at the time, but still, you have to wonder what they were thinking on this one.

I was three when this was on and I loved it.Later in life I saw a tape for it at Blockbusters so I grabbed it,watched and was like..."oh lord"...funny how things were great when you were kids but when you get to be adults are cheesy lol

I love this reimagining of Spider-man. Nicholas Hammond did an excellent job as the Web Head. He did a great job as Peter Parker as well.

The theme music makes it sound like "Spider-Porn".
