 Sarah Jessica Parker was born in 1965. Her earliest acting work was on-stage, including spending some time in the title role as "Annie". She did several TV movies in the early 80s, as well as starring on the cult classic sitcom "Square Pegs" from 1982-1983. She had a starring role in a Canadian independent movie called "Somewhere Tomorrow" before filming her first major role in America, a supporting role in the 80s classic "Footloose". She continued to play young roles until the 80s ended. In the 90s, she mixed up romantic comedy roles with work in more substantial fare before achieving success on the small screen in the sitcom "Sex And The City", which spun off a successful movie with a sequel currently in production (The picture in this profile was taken recently during filming of the movie).
She's married to Matthew Broderick, with whom she has 3 children. She has appeared on both the American and Israeli versions of "Sesame Street", and has also done commercials for companies including Garnier, Lux and Priceline.
