Movie Summary

Released: 1988
After Barbara and Adam Maitland are killed in a car crash, they find themselves trapped as ghosts in their beautiful New England farmhouse. Their peace is disrupted when a yuppie family, the Deetzs, buy their house. The Maitlands are too nice and harmless as ghosts and all their efforts to scare the Deetzs away are unsuccessful. They eventually turn to another ghost (Beetlejuice) for help...

This movie is just too funny. It's a classic and an all-time favorite. Beetlejuice rocks.

Beetlejuice is an angry, horny, sceming dead dude who got kicked outta the afterlife and sent to the death of the dead after becoming a bio-exorcist for hire to the dead. The Deetzes try to have a bit of fun with the deceased, and Beetlejuice tries to marry the Daughter of the Deetzes but it all goes awry. The Calypso is the theme of this flick, and it's done rather creatively with a humorful twist guaranteed to generate non-stop laughter!

They can't touch this movie with a remake.
There are enough crappy remakes and they just spoil it.
