The Lion King

Movie Summary

Released: 1994
In Africa,a young lion prince, named Simba, is born. thus making his uncle Scar the second in line to the throne. However Scar has no intention of waiting after Simba to become King. So Scar plots with the hyenas to kill King Mufasa and Prince Simba, thus making himself King. The King is killed and Simba is led to believe by Scar that it was his fault, and so he flees the kingdom in shame. After years of exile he is persuaded to return home by his childhood friend Nala to overthrow his Uncle and his army of Hyenas and claim the kingdom as his own thus completing the "Circle of Life".

I remember seeing this on the opening day with the WHOLE family. That means, including mom and dad, brother, grandma, and a couple cousins. After the show, we were all talking in the car about who our favorite characters were. My brother liked Scar (of course), my mom liked Rafiki, my dad liked Pumba, my grandma liked Timon and I liked Nala. Can't remember what my cousins liked, but I'm sure they were about the same.
This movie will always be an epic animated movie.
