The Crow

Movie Summary

Released: 1994
Based on the comic book, this story tells about a man named Eric who was murdered along with his fiancée, Shelly, who was also raped, by a gang of street thugs who broke into their apartment on "Devil's Night" (October 30). One year later, he is resurrected by a crow and seeks out vengeance on his murderers, killing them one at a time. He is able to defeat his enemies because the crow that brought him back to life has given him the power of invulnerability - nothing can kill him, and all injuries he takes are healed almost instantly, no matter how serious they are.

the only "superhero" movie i'll watch. while it wasn't acted real well (although Lee did an exceptional job in what was his best role), it told a beautiful story and had a fantastic atmosphere. it showed Detroit for what it was (still is), cold, dark, murderous and sad. but this movie also gave us a bit of light and hope, that even in such horrible places, true love does exist.
R.I.P Brandon Lee-
